Overview
Suno is currently the most popular AI music generation tool: describe a song in a sentence or paste lyrics, and within tens of seconds you get a complete track with vocals, instrumentation and arrangement.
On September 9, 2026, Suno released its V6 model family, shipping three models at once for the first time: the flagship v6 and experimental v6-wild for Pro / Premier subscribers, plus the free v6-mini for everyone. The other shift is licensing. V6 is Suno's first model trained on licensed data, built with Warner Music, BMG and Believe (including TuneCore), while earlier models were trained on scraped audio.
